  "BIGGLES" FLYS OUT

'Biggles' flys out in style - in the back of a fire engine!
He was a 'Trauma Ted' bear that is given to children under stress at such incidents as car crashes or fires.

Usworth cadets raised money to sponsor a bear for Washington fire station - their local unit.
Complete with flying goggles, scarf, wings - and of course that valued 2214 Squadron badge number.

Cadets L-R, ?French?, ???, Susan Carr, Pilot Officer Andrew Metcalf and ?Hughes? Present biggles to L/FF Joe Cummings.
Recognise anybody? - let us know so we can fill in the blanks - and don't forget the Reunion.

Station SIERRA, Washington, Tyne & Wear, 1990's.
